I attended the Los Angeles as a Character screening event last night. First up, congrats to organizer and curator Charles Doran for a tremendously successful evening. The Echo Park Film Center was packed to literally standing room only capacity.

The Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival is screening Kenneth Hughes’ The Tapster, plus films by Greg Kohs, Lee Kazimir, Patty Sharaf, John Humber and more.

Kenneth Hughes directed and stars in this short video, “Mr. Freeway,” about a dude who runs down the middle of Los Angeles’ frightening roadways.

Bad Dog and Superhero is an anti-industry and anti-positive image building film, which is odd as it’s made by Hollywood actor Kenneth Hughes.
