Two sisters ditch school to go on fantastical adventures.

The 4th annual London Underground Film Festival is screening films such as Grasp the Nettle and Escape From Tomorrow; hosting a Jeff Keen tribute and much more.

The 2nd annual South Texas Underground Film Festival, running Oct. 3-6 in Corpus Christi, Texas, is a massive celebration of international alternative cinema, including films such as Don Swaynos’ Picture of Superheroes and Daniel Fawcett and Clara Pais’ Savage Witches.

Savage Witches is an utterly charming paean to the cinema, mixing and matching a stream-of-consciousness of filmmaking styles and formats that flash by as if in a dream.

Sept. 21: Co-directed Clara Pais and Daniel Fawcett will be debuting their new feature film, Savage Witches, about two girls who find themselves at the intersection of fantasy and reality.
