The Experimental Film Festival Portland will host its 3rd annual edition on May 28-June 1 and screen films by Kent Lambert, Clint Enns, Christine Lucy Latimer and more.

This year will see the 9th annual edition of the Portland Underground Film Festival, which is screening Carlos Atanes’ Gallino; Jon Moritsugu’s Pig Death Machine and films by Neil Ira Needleman, Isabela Fondevila, Clint Enns and many more.

The second annual Experimental Film Festival Portland will feature work by local superstars such as Bob Moricz, Vanessa Renwick, Matt McCormick and others; as well as work from all over the world.

Amir George’s short film This Past Winter combines poetry, slow jazz and gritty video to paint an ice cold portrait of winter in the city.

Feb. 2: Chicago filmmakers Amir George and Nelson Carvajal present an opening night reception for their video art show at I Am Logan Square.

Oct. 10: The Citywide Film School Showcase is a night of short films by Chicago film school students from DePaul, Columbia, SAIC and other schools.
