To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of William S. Burrough’s legendary novel Naked Lunch, there is a score of events taking place all over NYC this week. Part of this event, on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 3:00 p.m. there will be a screening of several films based on Burroughs’ work, including excerpts from Andre Perkowski‘s long-percolating adaptation of Nova Express. Get a rare glimpse of this work in progress, plus more.

Thanks, Mike! Who knows when this movie will actually be finished, so it’s a nice opportunity to peek over my grimy shoulder. Showing some interesting material, incorporating a lost 1960s lengthy Burroughs reading from NOVA EXPRESS that hasn’t been heard in 40 years…
with special guest supervillian Allen Ginsberg, plus Proctor and Bergman from the Firesign Theatre reading a few routines.
