Lloyd Kaufman Is Special Guest at Australian MUFF

This year’s Melbourne Underground Film Festival — to be held sometime in July — is welcoming Troma Entertainment guru Lloyd Kaufman as their official “International Guest” and will be screening a Troma retrospective.
(As a side note, I went to a Troma retrospective at the Anthology Film Archives several years ago where a very gracious Lloyd showed up with about a zillion Troma characters. It was real hoot.)
MUFF has also announced it will be screening the World Premiere of Jon Hewitt’s darklovestory and will be holding a two-day “anti-film school” called MUFF Academy, plus two sidebar fests called MUFF Neu and Mini MUFF.
