For the second screening in the L.A. Filmforum‘s season-long retrospective of the work of Yvonne Rainer, they will be screening her most famous and popular film, the 1974 feature Film About a Woman Who… The description of the film from the Filmforum site reads:

Rainer’s landmark film is a meditation on ambivalence that plays with cliché and the conventions of soap opera while telling the story of a woman whose sexual dissatisfaction masks an enormous anger.

NOTE: Rainer will NOT be in attendance at this screening.
