For their 4th annual edition, the Minneapolis Underground Film Festival is preparing for a blowout event on Dec. 2-4 at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD). And, in order to make sure this year’s fest is extra special than all previous years, they’re raising funds via Kickstarter for promotional material and to host live performances and events. If you want to donate, please do so at Kickstarter.

MUFF is really mixing things up this year after having brought on a new Festival Director, Mark Hanson. They have also announced already that there will be prize packages of production rentals worth $500 for filmmakers provided by Cinequipt.

Special guests at the fest include Everything Is Terrible, which will present oddball VHS rarities; plus media artists Maria Juranic and Pixel Farm will screen work and host forums. And there will be a special fest after party with live musical guests!

The MUFF call for entries is also still open with a final deadline of Nov. 4.

Kickstarter donation rewards include free tickets to screenings, t-shirts, DVDs and other swag.
