Josh Koury’s New Website

By Mike Everleth ⋅ January 18, 2007

Josh Koury, the Co-Founder and Programming Director of the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival, has launched his own eponymous website (using WordPress, ‘natch) to keep track of and publicize his doings in the underground film scene. And, hey, look at that he already has an event to promote: Josh will be serving on the Slamdance Film Festival Short Films Jury. Slamdance starts today in Park City, UT, but you already knew that.

Josh has quite the underground pedigree. In addition to BUFF, he is also the Short Film Programmer and Programming Manager of the Hamptons International Film Festival, was featured heavily in the Encyclopedia of Underground Film and, according to his site, working on a new film. His previous film, Standing By Yourself, played at the 2002 New York Underground Film Festival, which I reviewed here.

So, bookmark the site and check out what he’s up to.
