Ed Halter, the former head of the New York Underground Film Festival, will be discussing his book on war and video games, From Sun Tzu to Xbox, with digital artist and blogger Tom Moody in Brooklyn on Wed. 7/19 at 8 p.m.

The book, which I reviewed here, is a brilliant history of the connection between war and gaming. Well recommended even if you’re not particularly interested in war or video games (which I’m not). Tom Moody has a brief review up on his own blog here. I’m not familiar with Mr. Moody, but skimming over his blog and website, this should be an interesting chat. So go.
