Hosted by: Tony GaultElizabeth Henry

Colorado-based filmmakers Tony Gault and Elizabeth Henry present a selection of their short film collaborations. Featuring a mix of experimental and documentary filmmaking techniques, their poetic films “reflect an ongoing investigation of how we might cultivate a new approach to physical, mental and environmental equilibrium.” The filmmakers will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A.

Gault and Henry both currently teach at the University of Denver in the Media, Film & Journalism Studies program and have been making films together for over 15 years. Their work frequently examines man’s attempted dominion of the environment, as well as human nature’s drive towards a fractured consciousness.

Their films, both individually and collectively, have screened at numerous underground film festivals, such as Antimatter, the Chicago Underground Film Festival, the ATA Film & Video Festival and more. In 2009, the Denver Underground Film Festival honored Tony Gault with a Lifetime Achievement award.
