2007 Boston Underground Film Festival: Call for Entries

Although the 2006 fest ended just a few weeks ago, the Boston Underground Film Festival is already on the lookout for films for next year’s event, which will be held during the last week of March 2007. And what are they looking for? This:

The festival seeks the alternative, the confrontational, the political and the controversial. The festival is particularly interested in films that explore musical components, topics and themes. The Boston Underground Film Festival seeks films that celebrate the alternative vision and sound, offering a platform that encourages new ideas work and ideas, and pushes the envelope in style and content.

Submission deadlines are:

Earlybird deadline: September 15, 2006
Short: $25
Medium Length: $35
Feature: $45

Regular deadline: November 30, 2006
Short: $35
Medium Length: $45
Feature: $55

Late Deadline: December 31, 2006
Short: $45
Medium Length: $55
Feature: $65

Submission categories correspond to film’s running time
0-20 mins. = Short
21-59 mins. = Medium Length
60 mins. and up = Feature
