This is a free event being held in Mandell Park in Houston’s Museum District. Before the actual screening, take a tour of the gardens and get some helpful tips on seed planting. Then, sit down and catch a selection of short films all about gardening and nature. The lineup of films is listed below.

Household chefs are encouraged to bring their own home-cooked treats to share with everybody. Chefs will then be entered into a drawing to win gifts from Whole Foods Markets. Alcohol is expressly forbidden and please don’t bring any glass containers. And please bring your own blankets and lawn chairs if you don’t feel like sitting in the dirt.

This outdoor screening is presented by the Aurora Picture Show along with the Friends of Mandell Park and State Farm Agent E. Bailey Moore. The films screening tonight are:
