2013 Montreal Underground Film Festival: Official Lineup

The 8th annual Montreal Underground Film Festival is a jam-packed weekend of short experimental films running on May 24-26.
A film to really look out for at the fest is Jaimz Asmundson’s visually spectacular The Magus, an art magick ritual starring Asmundson’s father C. Graham Asmundson that was one of the runners up for the Underground Film Journal’s 2011 Movie of the Year. The film screens during the first program, “SatNav” at 4:00 p.m. on May 25.
Other filmmakers to look out for include Winnipeg’s Aaron Zeghers, Toronto’s Leslie Supnet and Chicago’s Lori Felker. But, there’s also a ton of awesome short films to check out, so go to the fest and pig out on some extreme visual wonderment.
