2010 Real Light: A Festival Of Home Movies

This is a bit of a different film festival than I normally post about on the Underground Film Journal, but it sounds pretty cool. Real Light is going to be a touring festival of all home movies that are being curated by filmmaker Mike Turner. And he wants you to send in yours.
There’s no entry fee and only one deadline:
Final deadline:
April 24
What Turner is looking for is just about anything home movie related. According to his website, the films can be:
Home movies, (auto)biography, personal essay, intimate fiction, lyric, sensual, journal, travelogue, etc.
Right now, I don’t know what the tour schedule will be like, where it will be screening or when it will actually run. But it sounds like something fun to be a part of. Check out the Real Light website for submission details and to download an entry form. Also, Turner has a Vimeo page with a couple of nice videos on it that you might want to check out.
