2010 Migrating Forms: Call For Entries

The 2nd annual Migrating Forms experimental film festival is gearing up and looking for entries. There’s a slight change this year as the festival is being pushed back a month. Oh, it’ll still be screening at the mighty Anthology Film Archives, but it’s going to run on May 14-23 rather than in April like it did last year.

Here are the deadlines:

Early Deadline:
January 15

Regular Deadline:
February 15

Late Deadline:
March 15

So, what is Migrating Forms looking for? There’s not much to go on their official site except a description of the festival as “five days of new experimental film and video.” So, the best thing to do is to look over last year’s lineup and see if your work would fit into that type of program. Although last year was the fest’s first year, it included a stellar lineup of some of the best experimental film work being produced today.

To submit, you can either go through the online form on their website or through the site Withoutabox.
