2009 San Antonio Film Festival: Award Winners

It looks like the San Antonio Film Festival had another successful year, their 15th. Fifteen years is an awesome run — and still going strong! The fest ran on June 25-28 and if you missed out, you can check out the fun and excitement in several photo galleries posted on Facebook. (You don’t have to log in to look at them.)
Below is the list of this year’s award winners. There were several jury awards and two audience awards. What’s really nice to see, though, is the SAFF honoring both local and young filmmakers with their Best San Antonio Filmmaker and Best High School Filmmaker awards.
The big winner of the fest was filmmaker Eric Fonseca whose Funeral March for a Marionette won both the Grand Prize and the Jury Prize for Best Animated Short. But congrats to all the filmmakers who won:
