2009 Portland Underground Film Festival: Call For Entries

By Mike Everleth ⋅ November 7, 2008

Portland, OR’s two main avant garde fests are now open for business. A few weeks ago, I posted that the more experimental of the pair, PDX, is looking for submissions. And now, the “cult-ier” half, the Portland Underground Film Festival, is also calling for entries.

The festival will be held sometime in June, as it usually is, but official dates are still TBA. As for submission deadlines, there’s only one with one entry fee:

Final Deadline:
March 30, 2009

The festival site doesn’t offer any guideliness nor do they post a mission statement. But if you want a sense of what they might be looking for, you can check out last year’s lineup. They do accept both features and shorts and they do seem to trend towards the cult-ish spectrum of underground film. It always seems like a fun lineup.

For full submission info, please visit the official PUFF site.
