2009 Minneapolis Underground Film Festival: Award Winners
The Minneapolis Underground Film Festival wrapped up its second successful year on Dec. 6. The festival gave out six awards, the winners of which are listed below. Congrats to all of them!
The festival appears to have been embraced by its home city. It received a lot of press leading up to it. The City Pages paper put up two feature articles about it: A nice preview and a listing of highlights. Plus, there were two lengthy interviews with the festival’s director, Greg Yolen, in both the Star Tribune and for the MPR public radio news site.
So, congrats to the fest. Congrats to the winners. And looking forward to next year!
