2009 Coney Island Film Festival: Award Winners

The 9th annual Coney Island Film Festival wrapped up way back on Oct. 4, but here at last is the list of festival award winners. Awards were given out in the usual categories: Feature, Short, Documentary, Experimental, Animation and more, but also given is the unique to the fest “Made in Coney Island” award.
By all accounts, the fest had another smashing year, but what else do you expect from one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the world? With it’s eclectic lineup, the fest got written up by the esteemed horror zine/site Fangoria, plus several Brooklyn-based blogs and news sites.
