2008 Calgary Underground Film Festival: Call For Entries
The Canadian CUFF, being the Calgary Underground Film Festival, is already gearing up for their fifth edition next year, which will be held April 11-20. That festival length is twice as long as the past two years, so looks like they’re planning a massive blowout. If you’re pining to be a part of that, but you’re still working on your magnum opus, don’t fret, you still have a bit of time of time:
Deadline:
February 1, 2008
And there is no entry fee. Yes, it’s free to enter! Here’s their lineup from this year and if you want a vibe of what they might be looking for, here’s how the CUFFers describe themselves:
The Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF) is committed to celebrating alternative, independent, innovative and provocative films and videos. The festival will feature works that defy convention in form, style, and content by screening a wide spectrum of contemporary works in a variety of categories: feature, documentary, animation, short, and experimental.
