By Mike Everleth ⋅ April 22, 2007

The New Haven Underground Film Festival has released the first round of films picked for their 2007 screenings. The festival will run on the night of May 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Update: Will start an hour earlier at 5:30 p.m.

This initial batch of feature film selections are all music oriented:

Get Thrashed, dir. Rick Ernst
Stomping Grounds
We Like to Drink: We Like to Play Rock ‘n’ Roll, dir. Lexi Shabel
Wasted Orient, dir. Kevin Fritz

In addition, some of the short films that will be screening are: Chi, Chingaso the Clown, Dartsville, Detroit Unleaded, La Danse Macabre: Portrait of a Serial Sculptor and The Little Gorilla.

I’ll provide film descriptions and the actual screening lineup when NHUFF gives that info out, probably just after May 1 or thereabouts.
