The Antimatter Underground Film Festival is one of the premiere short film festivals in the world just based on the sheer amount of short films that they show. Here’s the lineup from last year. That’s crazy! This year’s fest is going to be held in Victoria, British Columbia Sept. 21-29. I shudder already at the official lineup post I’m going to have to do. (Just kidding — Love it!) They also program several video installations.

On the Antimatter site, there’s not much they say about what they’re looking for beyond this:

Antimatter is an annual festival of innovative short film and video.

So, if your work falls into that area, send it in. Here’s the deadlines:

Early Deadline:
April 15, 2007
(Fee: $10 USD/CDN)

Final Deadline:
May 31, 2007
(Fee: $20 USD/CDN)
