2007 Animation Block Party: Call For Entries

Animation Block Party

The Brooklyn summertime film festival for animated shorts, the Animation Block Party is gearing up for it’s 4th annual fest and will run July 27-30, 2007. This post is comin’ at ya a little bit late. The early deadline has already passed (back on March 2), but the the standard and late deadlines are as follows:

Standard Deadline:
April 30
Submission fee: $25
Student submission: $15

Late Deadline:
June 4
Submission fee: $30
Student submission: $20

Some call it punk rock, some call it grass roots, but labels aside – NYC based Animation Block is dedicated to exhibiting the world’s best independent, professional and student animation.

You can also visit their blog and watch an animated short a day. And for your real animation buffs, you can buy compilation DVDs of the Block Party’s first and second year.
