Underground Film Guide: The Videos

By Mike Everleth ⋅ August 3, 2008

[NOTE: We dissolved the websites mentioned below and blended their content into the Journal itself.]

As if I don’t have enough to do, I’ve gone ahead and launched a third underground film site. Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what I’m calling it, but for now the logo has the unwieldy title of Underground Film Guide: The Videos. The actual URL is only slightly less unwieldy.

Also, like when I launched and announced the Underground Film Guide a few weeks ago, there’s not much content on the video companion site yet, but I’m trying to build it up slowly but surely. (Ok, not so surely, but I do try.) Also, so far, most of the featured videos are from the Underground Film Journal, not the UFG. That’s because the ultimate plan is to add videos from both sites in one handy-dandy viewing location, plus other videos I like and don’t get to write up in depth here.

I wasn’t really planning to do a third site. However, when I saw what I thought was the perfect WordPress theme to feature videos, I impulsively went ahead and created the site. There are still a few things I’m hoping I can tweak to make it do what I want, but overall I’m happy and thrilled to be working on it. So thrilled I’m probably announcing it way before I should make it public due to the scarcity of content. But, please go check it out, offer suggestions, bookmark it, etc. Thanks.
