I just wanted to publicly thank all the terrific filmmakers, film festival folks, film bloggers, writers and everyone else who sent me a ton of of wonderful movies, books, recommendations, leads and other stuff this year. 2008 felt like a banner year for the site in which I made a whole bunch of new, fantastic friends and kept in touch with dear old chums. I also want to thank those of you who went out of your way to spread the good Underground Film Journal word by talking up the site at festivals and sending links here from your own sites.

2008 is going to be a tough year to top. However, I’m very excited by all of the new projects I hear people are working on and I’m sure I’ll be introduced to even more new work that will blow me away. So, with that, I wish everyone a fabulous 2009 and lets really show the world that the underground film scene is stronger and thriving more than ever.
