Lloyd Kaufman

Lloyd Kaufman is an American horror movie director and producer, as well as the president and co-founder of Troma Entertainment. Kaufman began his career directing teenage sex exploitation pictures -- typically under the pseudonym Samuel Weil -- but moved into horror with the cross-genre hit The Toxic Avenger in 1984. Since then, he's made numerous cult horror hits himself and helped start the careers of writers and directors like Trey Parker, Matt Stone and James Gunn.
