Robot Hand Wins Two Telly Awards

By Mike Everleth ⋅ June 23, 2011

Congratulations to Brian Lonano and the Robot Hand crew for their recent win of two Telly Awards, one for the opening title credit sequence for the Spooky Movie Television program and one for the trailer for the 2011 Boston Underground Film Festival.

The Spooky Movie segment was a Bronze Winner in the Film/Video category while the Boston Underground trailer — also entitled Bacchus Attack Us after the festival’s bunny mascot — was also a Bronze Winner in the Online Video category.

Both videos have been featured on the Underground Film Journal in the past (here and here), but you can watch them right here in this news post: Spooky Movie up top and Boston Underground below.

The Telly Awards were founded in 1978 to “honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.” Later, it added web video to its list of honors.
