“Girl Talk in RiP — A Remix Manifesto”
RiP is the world’s first open source documentary, the product of hundreds of collaborators all working on the subject of copyright and the Remix Culture. The brainchild of Brett Gaylor, the film features the work of media mash-up artists, such as Girl Talk who rearranges existing songs into new music, and how they operate in a world of intellectual property rights yet all media is able to be grabbed and reconstituted by just about anybody.
