Movie Trailer: Waylon Bacon’s Help Wanted
San Francisco underground filmmaker Waylon Bacon has posted a trailer for his latest short film, Help Wanted. And, man, it looks like a real doozy. Here’s the brief synopsis:
A young man is taking a tour of a warehouse were he hopes to find employment. However, the job turns out to be more than he bargained for.
From watching the trailer, apparently that “more” includes stacks of female corpses.
Bacon has been making outrageous short films out of S.F. for years, many of which you can watch online and all of which are highly recommended by the Underground Film Journal. They range from simple gag films like BOB and Maggots to longer, more involved works like Poster Boy and My Worst Nightmare.
However, Help Wanted is Bacon’s most ambitious project yet, which he chronicled the making of on his blog. It was fun following the production and it looks like Bacon’s ambition is about to really pay off, if this trailer is any indication of the final film.
