Noise and Resistance is a new documentary by Julia Ostertag and Francesca Araiza Andrade that examines the world of European punk rock and how that subculture is helping and hoping to transform their way of life.

Traveling all across the European union, the filmmakers met and interviewed “quatters in Barcelona, anti-fascists in Moscow, Dutch trade unionists, the activists of England’s Crass collective, queer trailer park inhabitants in Berlin, [and] Swedish girl punk bands.” The film also includes, of course, lots of loud music.
