Missed It: 2008 Miami Underground Film Festival

Well, I guess the 2008 underground film festival season officially started back on March 5-9 when the Miami Underground Film Festival held their most recent edition. I missed all news about this coming up. That’s why things are underground — you miss some things once in awhile.
Kind of pointless to put up the official schedule like a normally do at this point. So first, I’m going to list this year’s award winners, then just list what else screened sans my normally witty and pithy descriptions. (Ok, more pithy than witty.) Here are the winners, then:

Oscar Diaz – Full Circle, Mysteries of the Opposite Sex
Best Actress
Patricia Rae – P.J., dir. Russ Emanuel
Best Feature
Under the Snow, dirs. Candela Figueira and Maitena Muruzabal
Best Short

Best Horror
