The 10,000 Mile Bike Race is a live music-film-narration performance event based on a chapter from the book The Supermale by Alfred Jarry (1873-1907), a French author, dramatist and prankster.

Brent Cunningham will provide the narration while Jarry’s writing has been interpreted on film by Kerry Laitala, Jerome Hiler, Paul Clipson, and Bill Basquin. The films will be projected by Bill Basquin, Rosario Sotelo and Konrad Steiner.

Music is arranged by Graham Connah and performed by Aaron Novik, Darren Johnston, Evan Francis, Marty Wehner, John Finkbeiner, Lisa Mezzacappa, Vijay Anderson and Graham Connah.

This performance was conceived by Kino21’s Konrad Steiner.
