Vanessa Renwick will present several of her short films and videos, which primarily are poetic documentaries that reflect on specific places and times. Her work focuses mostly on society’s outsiders, including herself, and how they build their own realities that exist outside of mainstream life.

Renwick is also the founder and janitor of the Oregon Department of Kick Ass and several of her films are available on her shared DVD with Greta Snider, Nomads and No-Zones, available from Craig Baldwin’s Other Cinema.

For more information, please visit the First Person Cinema and Renwick’s Dept. of Kick Ass websites.
