The Montreal-based filmmaking collective Double Negative presents a night of fourteen short films that challenge the “current stagnation of film the 21st Century.” The full lineup of films screening is below and includes Underground Film Journal favorites Ghosts and Gravel Roads by Mike Rollo and Karl Lemieux‘s Western Sunburn. Members of Double Negative who will be present at the screening are: Mike Rollo, Amber Goodwyn, Daichi Saito and Malena Szlam.

Founded in 2003, Double Negative is made up of twelve filmmakers who are working to more broadly disseminate the experimental film experience and help open up a dialogue about the future of filmmaking among the independent film community.
