2008 Twin Cities Underground Film Festival: Call For Entries

By Mike Everleth ⋅ January 23, 2008

Twin cities? One singular underground fest! The Twin Cities Underground Film Festival will be celebrating its third edition this year on Aug. 2-3 and they want your film to be a part of it.

I don’t have a deadline date for submissions, nor do I know if it costs anything to submit. You might just have to go to their website and go through the submission process to find out. However, they are looking for both shorts and features of any and all genres. Here’s last year’s lineup for a guideline. Plus, for even more info on what they want, here’s their mission statement:

We seek to highlight films that may not normally be noticed by the larger festivals. From B-movies to Heart-Wrenching-Dramas to Experimental-Vampire-Romantic-Comedy/Instructional-Videos, we’re looking for anything and everything you can dream up!

The 3rd Annual Twin Cities Underground Film Festival celebrates low-, micro-, and no-budget films that are made for the sheer excitement of filmmaking. Movies that celebrate the joy, blood, sweat and tears that go into realizing an independent filmmaker’s unique vision.

Entertainment value is key! We’ve specifically selected films that entertain regardless of their production or artistic value. No pretension, nepotism or misguided “art for art’s sake,” just sheer, raw entertainment!

So, if you feel like your film is entertaining enough, please visit the TCUFF official website for more info and submission guidelines.
