2008 Austin Underground Film Festival: Final Deadline

Just a quick note here: The 3rd Austin Underground Film Festival has recently announced its final deadline: Oct. 31. So, before you go out trick-or-treating, make sure you get your short film in the mail.
The festival date still hasn’t been set, but it will be in early November. Also, just a reminder, this is a shorts-only film festival. No films over 40 minutes long, please. You can send in just about any style of film, but the AUFF aesthetic is described thusly:
We seek to provide a venue for films that might not otherwise be exhibited for the public, and virtually no genre or concept is excluded from consideration. However, films of a radical, critical, progressive, provocative, confrontational, controversial, subversive, seditious, irreverent, illicit, offensive, obscene, rebellious, profane, pornographic, conspiratorial, corruptive, psychotropic, phantasmagoric, volatile, violent, anarchic, blasphemous or otherwise irresponsible nature are especially encouraged.
That sound like your film? Then submit. Info here.
Also, I’ll be posting some more entry deadlines over the coming days, but if you want a jump on them, you can check out the Underground Film Journal’s film festival list. I just updated a bunch. Look for dates in bold for final deadlines.
