2007 Montreal Underground Film Festival: Official Lineup

The 2nd annual Montreal Underground Film Festival is running May 17-19, so I’m getting this up just under the wire for those planning/trying to decide to attend. Like last year, this is a very shorts-heavy fest, although I think they’re showing a few more features than last year, i.e. if you think of a “feature” as being at least over 45 minutes. Normally I list the longer films first, but since there’s so few, I’m mixing both the feature and shorts lineups together.
One little program note: On the 19th at 10:00 p.m., the shorts program will include Rebecca Conroy‘s I’m Serious, She’s a Bitch, a truly terrific film that I reviewed here. I’ve seen it several times on a computer screen, but would love to see in a theater with an audience. And now, without further ado, here’s the lineup:

12:30 a.m.:
5 1/2 Roofs, dir. Sepp. R. Brudermann. Feature. A documentary about 6 urban squats in modern-day London, a city where squatting is not a crime.
May 19

Bere Per Dimenticare (Drink to Forget), dirs. Patrick Heeren, Michele Calabresi, Carla Molino. Feature. Somebody in Italy is selling wine bottles with images of Hitler and Mussolini on them. Again, I think this is a documentary, but I’m not sure.
