2007 Austin Underground Film Festival: Official Lineup

Fest director Andy Gately has posted the (almost) final lineup for this year’s Austin Underground Film Festival, which will be held on June 9th at 3 p.m. at the legendary Alamo Drafthouse Downtown. And I use the term “almost” because as you’ll see below there is programmed a special TBA screening. I would also like to categorize the fest as being “shorts only” once again, but I don’t know if the TBA is a feature or not. As it stands, Andy says the entire program will run about three hours and the audience will get to vote for the best film of the night.
Andy also notes that the Downtown Drafthouse will be closing in June, so this will be one of the final screenings at this location. After this you’ll have to go somewhere else to enjoy a plate of fried pickles, some pizza and a beer while you watch your film. There are several other Drafthouse locations in and around Austin, but I think each has it’s own unique menu. As far as the film lineup below goes, the only name I recognize is Leah Meyerhoff whose “Team Queen” has been playing all over the place. So, without further rambling ado, here’s the lineup:
In Defense of Definitions, dir. Don Swaynos (Watch online)
Ghetto Big Mac, dir. Casimir Nozkowski
Bodega, dir. Casimir Nozkowski
Help Is Coming, dir.Ben Mor
