Movie Review: 2000 NYUFF: Day 4, Part 1

Got a little bit later start than I wanted, but there wasn’t anybody at the Anthology Film Archives box office anyway. Plus, it’s raining out so that kinda sucks. I don’t want to have to stand in line for tonight’s movies at the 2000 New York Underground Film Festival later outside. My sneakers are already soaked. My first film is at 2:15. It might be crowded since it’s a documentary about NYC hardcore bands. A lot of the band people might show up.

I’m killing time at a vegetarian restaurant. (In honor of Meat Fucker last night.) Have to thank my ex-girlfriend for stumbling on this place months ago so that I knew about it to come now. Some crazy-looking guy keeps staring at me and the service stinks, but the food’s great: The Sanctuary at First Ave. and First St.
