Movie Review: 2000 NYUFF: Day 2, Part 1

Fifteen minutes until the box office opens yet for Day 2 of the 2000 New York Underground Film Festival. I am the first one here. Damn, I must be a total geek. 4 movies on the schedule tonight. 3 docs and 1 horror.

There’s only one other person waiting with me. A girl on a bike reading a thick magazine. A guy in a black leather jacket with a festival badge asked for directions to Bleeker & Bowery. Another dude just walked up. He’s reading The Turning Point. I’m writing this. Of course he had to try the door to see if it’s locked. “Not open yet?” Uh, no, dude.
