2009 Experiments in Cinema: Official Lineup

The official title of this event is Experiments in Cinema v4.2 and it’s being held in several venues around Albuquerque, New Mexico April 16-19. It’s also  sponsored by the screening series Basement Films, all of which I’m listing for the first time here on the Underground Film Journal.

Fantastic lineup, though. The four-day event will feature work by local filmmakers, including an opening night event spotlighting youth films. But they’re also screening films by the likes of experimental film stalwarts Marie Losier, Robert Todd, Sylvia Schedelbauer and more. Plus, there are a couple filmmaker retrospectives, including ones by Kerry Laitala and Dean Snider. Laitala will be in attendance for his screening on the 18th.

So, here’s the official lineup. Also, on top of each date, I’ve listed the location of that day and night’s screenings, since it moves almost every day:
