2006 New Haven Underground Film Festival Award Winners

The Plight of a Cheerleader

The New Haven Underground Film Festival has posted up this year’s award winners at their website, along with a little bit of commentary. Here they are:

Best Picture: Checkout!
(Director Dan Eckman and the ensemble cast rocked the house!)

Best Director: David Chai for Fumi and the Bad Luck Foot
(An amazing film.)

Best Performance: Amy Claire for The Plight of a Cheerleader
(Amy Claire is the best cheerleader this festival has ever seen … and anybody who doesn’t think so has gonorrhea.)

The Precious: Robota by Marc Beurteaux
(For doing the whole damn thing in Legos.)
